General Eligibility For Ghana Armed Forces 2024

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a Ghanaian by birth.
• Be of good character.
• Not married (for Regular Cadets)
• Be between 18 to 26 years old as of March 31, 2025
• Must meet GAF Medical fitness standards and pass the Pre-Joining Fitness Test.
• Minimum height :
• Males 1.68m (5’6)
• Females: 1.60m(5’2)
• Military Police :
• Males: 1.75m (5’9)
• Females: 1.70m (5’7)

Educational Qualifications for Applicants

• Applicants must have any of the following:
• BECE: Six (6) Credits including English, Mathematics, and Science.
• WASSCE: Six (6) Credits (not less than C6) including Core English, Core Mathematics, and Core Science.
• SSSCE: Six (6) Credits (not less than D) including Core English, Core Mathematics, and Core Science.
• GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels: Five credits at O’ Level, including English and Mathematics, and not below D in three A’ Level subjects.
• First Degree: Not below Second Class Lower. (Note: Transcripts and Attestations are not accepted.)
