2024 Election: It’s an Advantage for Zongo’s and Northern People to vote for Bawumia – Okyere Baafi
The Member of Parliament for the New Juaben South Constituency, Michael Okyere Baafi, said the 2024 General Election is a “free penalty kick” for the Zongo communities and Northern Ghana to elect the competent Mahamudu Bawumia and advance the interests of Ghanaians.
He said the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry noted that the NPP presidential candidate is tested and proven with bold solutions and innovative ideas on how to overcome the challenges facing Ghana. He told a group of NPP members at a health walk at Koforidua that the NPP has showed Ghanaians that it is indeed a national party where all citizens get the opportunity to participate in the development of the country.
“The 2024 election is like a football match between you the Zongo communities and the northern part of Ghana on one side and the rest of Ghana.”.
We gave the zongo communities a penalty without any goalkeeper in the poles, if you look at the empty pole and kick the ball off the pole, then it is your own problem. If you make a determination to score too, you have contributed to making history in Ghana’s politics. Choose competent Mahamadu Bawumia to lead Ghana in the 2024 election,” Mr Okyere Baafi noted.
He said the records show that the NPP has developed the New Juaben South Constituency more than any other political party in the history of Ghana.
As part of the development, the MP also organized a mammoth walk and rally over the weekend.
The parliamentary candidate for Okere constituency, Mr. Kenneth Daniel Nana Addo, said the NPP government had been good to the people of Okere by delivering good roads, health care facilities including a district hospital, jobs, and rural electrification projects among others.
He said the NPP has better ideas and solutions to Ghana’s problems.
We must, as a people, ensure that the Ghanaians retain the NPP in power to ensure continuity of all social interventions and development programs under the NPP administration, said Kenneth Daniel Akufo-Addo. “I say without any uncertainty that the NDC will cancel Free SHS when they win power, it is clear from their conduct from day one. Let’s vote for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to deliver bold solutions to our problems, we need great ideas not ‘day old chicks’ economy,” Akufo-Addo said. He said Dr. Bawumia is the most competent candidate tried and tested for the Office of President. A former Eastern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Kingston Komeng Kissi, urged all NPP members to go out in their numbers and vote massively for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and the NPP.
