WhatsApp is dead: all these cell phones will be uncommunication from October 1st
The instant messaging app has announced that, starting in August, some mobile devices will no longer be able to use WhatsApp for this reason.
The world’s most widely used online messaging app, WhatsApp, will stop working on thousands of cell phones thanks to a major update starting October 1.
The changes to the app’s operating system require a significant amount of space that non-modern cell phones do not have. The list of more than 30 affected phone models includes brands such as Apple ( iPhone ), Samsung, LG, Huawei, ZTE, among other well-known ones.
What is the reason why WhatsApp stops working on some phones?
Since the beginning of the year, the company has warned that there would be several changes to the app that would leave out some older phones. As has become usual at the beginning of each month, many phones will no longer be compatible with WhatsApp.
